A great many people today believe there are many roads leading to salvation. They will argue, "What makes you think your way is right? My way is just as good as your way." How can people be expected to think any differently when there are thousands of religions with different views on the same subject? Is there only one way that leads to salvation? What does God’s word say?
The Lord says the gate is small and the way is narrow, and there are very few people who find it (Matt. 7:14). We must enter by that narrow door, which means we must live as Jesus gave us example to live, to find eternal life. Anyone who climbs up some other way is like a thief and a robber (John 10:1). Jesus boldly proclaims that He is the door (John 10:9).
God’s word says there is only one body, one Spirit, one Lord, one faith and one baptism (Eph. 4:4-5). Then, it would only stand to reason that there is only one way or one truth. Remember, it is impossible for God to lie and no lie is of the truth (Heb. 6:18; 1 John 2:21). Jesus Christ not only proclaimed He is the door, but also that He is the truth (John 14:6).
Jesus said everyone on earth will be judged by the words in the Bible and by their works (Rev. 20:12). Those who live a life of good works for God’s glory will be resurrected to eternal life (John 5:28-29; Matt. 5:16). Their names are recorded in the book of life and they will receive eternal life (Luke 10:20).
If everyone is going to be judged by the words of Jesus Christ that are found in the Bible, then it stands to reason that the Bible itself is truth (John 12:47-50). Jesus says everyone who keeps, does, performs or practices His sayings will never see death (John 8:51). Only those who do the Will of God will abide forever (1 John 2:17). These life-and-death Scriptures show that Jesus Christ’s words are the Will of God, because they have eternal life as the reward.
The subject of works is tragically misunderstood by many today. Evil works are Man’s works done apart from God (Jer. 17:9-10). Good works are the works Jesus Christ did to please the Father. He came to show us what to do and how to do it. We are also to do these works in order to imitate the Lord (1 Cor. 11:1; Eph. 5:1; Matt. 5:16).
The one and only way is the way Jesus Christ lived. As a result, He overcame the pulls of the world (Rev. 3:21; 5:5; John 14:30; 16:33). We, too, must overcome by performing Jesus Christ’s works and enduring to the end, so that we may be found worthy to reign with Him in His kingdom (Rev. 2:5, 26-27).
Yes, there is only one way that leads to eternal life. Now you know that way. Study God’s word daily; pray for others, as well as your own needs; and above all, be a doer of the word.

Very accurate and very inspired words in defense of our Biblical beliefs. Those who say that there are many ways are just justifying their own beliefs.
