Psalm 139:10

Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. Never are God's children so far removed upon the earth that they might fall outside the protective grasp of their Lord. He is to everlasting, filling all the heavens with His majesty! Fear no bitter darkness nor lasting night for ever shall the Lord of heaven redeem you who believe unto the everlasting morning and bathe you in light imperishable!

Shine On!

And the Lord said to Moses, Say to Aaron and his sons, This is the way you shall bless the Israelites. Say to them, The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you; The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you; The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually). — Numbers 6:22-26

God's Unfailing Promises

Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. - Isaiah 7:14 I cannot imagine how excited the Jews were when they heard that the redeemer, the savior was finally here on earth. After all, they had been waiting their whole lives for this moment, waiting for the almighty Son of God to come and free them from their captors. I also cannot imagine the confusion, when 30 years later this almighty king remained "powerless" against the ruling government, and instead of leading a rebellion, taught peace and co-existence ( Luke 20:25 ). Instead of praising the pharisees, and appointing them to high positions in His kingdom, He condemned their actions ( Matthew 3:7 ), and taught what real love was... sacrifice ( John 15:13 ). And finally, I cannot imagine the disappointment, when this almighty King died at the hands of the very kingdoms He was to rule over. It seemed that after all the promis

Revelation 2:11

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death. Follow Christ even unto your death and your reward shall be great! Life—and that eternal! Nevermore shall the sting of death be felt. Nevermore shall the wasting of the body be remembered. Life! Life! Life! To worship the Son forever, casting down glory upon glory at His feet—so is the beautiful destiny of all those who believe! So take heart in your faith and taste the true and everlasting life!

Use Me Daily Lord!

2 Peter 1:5-8   For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. My Prayer: Gracious Lord, instill these moral principles in my heart. May these qualities be seen in me that others may know of Your wonderful character. Make me fruitful and useful for Your kingdom! For the only blessing that I seek, is to see You using me daily.

For I am your provider and I meet all your needs.

Matthew 6:31-33 31 So do not worry, saying, What shall we eat or What shall we drink or What shall we wear? 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. (NIV Bible) One of the biggest causes of stress in our lives is the pressure we put on ourselves for daily provision. We work hard to provide for the necessities of life and can be anxious about our future. Will there be a recession? Will I still have a job? What about the mortgage? All of these questions are valid, but Jesus tells us that we don't have to worry about all these things, because our Father in heaven knows what we need and wants to provide for us. All we have to do is become like little children, seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness trusting that Father will care for us as He promised. My children have never worried about the mortgage. As teenagers,

Psalm 146:7

He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets prisoners free. Whether oppressed, hungry, or a imprisoned, God will take care of His child. If it oppression that we are suffering, then we will be upheld by God. If we are plagued with hunger, then God will provide spiritual food for our souls. If we are bound, then we will be liberated from our sins. Truly, we are given tremendous freedom by God's love and grace!

There Is Nothing To Fear!

Psalm 91 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD,   “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If you make the Most High your dwelling-- even the LORD, who is my refuge—then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you w

Revelation 1:7

Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him;and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen. Soon will be the coming of the Lord from clouds and on high! At long last, all creation will bow before Him in full recognition of His majesty and glory. Praise the Lord all you people! Lift His name on high! Bask in the redemptive power of His blood! Believe on Him and be saved in the final day!

Encouraging Bible Scriptures

Isaiah 30:21

And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This [is] the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left. Father, I am so grateful for all Your splendid majesty and mercy! Thank You for dying on the cross and suffering my consequences. Yet more than anything, thank You for conquering death that I may be with you forever and ever! Help me to keep focused on You. May I never look right or left, but continue to faithfully walk on Your holy path. Continue to guide me in all my ways!

Romans 5:1

Revelation 2:7

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. All God's children will be ever known as the conquerors of death. By the life and resurrection of Christ, they are made alive evermore. The new vitality granted by God cannot be vanquished and those who have taken its hold shall overcome forever! Therefore, they shall all inherit their right to life everlasting and to the very symbol of that life, first seen in the garden of paradise—the very tree of life! So to he who hears, listen well: pick up your cross and follow the Blood by the power of the Blood.

Deuteronomy 7:9

Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he [is] God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations. God is faithful! He has been and always will be faithful! How wondeful that we can count upon His promises! My Prayer: O Lord, thank you for being faithful, even to those who are faithless! Keep me walking close to You and in Your statutes.
