We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.- Hebrews 6:19

Psalm 119:41-43~May your unfailing love come to me, Lord, your salvation, according to your promise; then I can answer anyone who taunts me, for I trust in your word. Never take your word of truth from my mouth, for I have put my hope in your laws.

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:16-18)

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. (Hebrews 12:1-3)

There are many Christians who have wondered why. Why was suffering or pain allowed to enter their lives. Some may have even asked God 'why'. I know I am one of those Christians. Have you ever wondered why we go through the things we do? God said: If you never felt pain, then how would you know that I'm a Healer? If you never went through difficulties, how would you know that I'm a Deliverer? If you never had a trial, how could you call yourself an over comer? If you never felt sadness, how would you know that I'm a Comforter? If you never made a mistake, how would you know that I'm forgiving? If you knew all, how would you know that I will answer your questions? If you never were in trouble, how would you know that I will come to your rescue? If you never were broken, then how would know that I can make you whole? If you never had a problem, how would you know that I can solve them?
